The Monterey Marriott offers 341 deluxe guest rooms including 22 suites. Monterey is located on the Monterey Bay Peninsula on the California's central coast, approx 100 miles south of San Francisco. Monterey is famous for: Pebble Beach Golf Links, 17 Mile Drive, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Laguna Seca Raceway and it's renowned wine country. Monterey hosts several special events annually; MotoGP Motorcycle racing, Concours D'Elegance Classic Car Show, Monterey Jazz Festival, Big Sur Marathon among many other events. The Monterey Marriott is a strong group hotel with a focus on booking groups during the week, as transient/leisure is strong over weekends and Holidays. The hotel consistently ranks in the top ten in ESS and GSS. The hotel is located in the historic downtown district, within easy walking distance to a wide variety of attractions. For groups, the hotel is directly connected to the Monterey Conference Center, combined offering over 50,000 Sq. Ft. of function and exhibit space.
