Alfredo of Rome-New York

7 East 54th Street, New York, NY, USA, 10020

About us

Alfredo of Rome is named for the original Roman restaurant where fettuccine Alfredo was created in 1914. It occupies 8000 sq. feet at exciting Rockefeller Center, at 4 west 49th Street. The dining room seats 250, in a retro 1960's Art Deco setting, surrounded by six-by-16 foot portraits bu Al Hirschfeld and dozens of black and white photos of celebrities. Our Cicciolina, Tiber, & Baccus rooms feature a comfortably chic Art Deco design with 12 foot ceilings, a built-in mahogany bar, reserve wine display, Al Hirschfeld gallery and Italian-made upholstered chairs. It is also possible to reserve our main dining room and bar, or even the entire restaurant.
