Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations by Client. Any cancellation by Client shall be made in writing via e-mail to the attention of the Lightbox representative listed on this Agreement. Cancellations made by phone call or by voicemail message will not be considered received unless supplemented by written cancellation. If the Client cancels the Event, the Client understands and acknowledges that cancellations reflect a loss in revenue.

What is included: Furniture: 5 -42” highboy tables silver, 5- 36” cocktail tables white, 8 -white bar stools, 5 wooden bar stools coat check racks and hangers, · 4 cubes,Can be used for seating. · 1 ottoman, · 1 three seater bench, · 4 middle sofa sections, · 2 two seater benches, · 4 corner sofa section, · interactive touch pad (with client logo displayed and/or client Instagram page), · audio and lighting system, · 1 handheld microphone + 1 Over the Ear Mic. · Use of bars, one mobile bar on the main level and one permanent bar in the cellar · 8 LED ultra violet capable Pars, · 2 LED 360 movers with custom gobo capability. Use of in-house DJ equipment Not included: storage; furniture removal. Additional items can be added at an extra cost and any additional services will have to be approved by Lightbox. Lightbox requires 48 hours notice to add additional staff, furniture, rentals etc. Lightbox will use commercially reasonable efforts (i.e. we will do whatever we can in our power) to make it happen. Payment will be required prior to the Event for add-ons.
