About us
The Rutland Arms is a former Coaching Inn located in the heart of infamous racing town of Newmarket, Suffolk. The hotel has been built around the historic cobbled courtyard dating from the reign of Charles II c. 1651. The distinctive and attractive building retains many original period features adding to the Rutland Arm’s charm and character. All 46 stylish en-suite bedrooms are elegantly furnished and individually designed and perfect for an intimate weekend away and deal for the business traveller. For the early risers, a morning stroll to the Gallops is something not to be missed, watching the horses out on exercise certainly builds up the appetite for a hearty breakfast and is one of the most distinctive and attractive buildings in historic Newmarket.
