About us
Powderhorn Chateau Hotel is a four star boutique hotel. It is the closest accommodation to Turoa skifield, and the hotel is located at the start or finishing point of the Old Coach Road cycle and walkway. There is an abundance of outdoor activity in the Ruapehu district. The walking opportunities are endless, the most well known being the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. It has 30 hotel suites with unique individual touches. In addition, it has conference rooms and other break-out rooms throughout the complex that are suited to smaller meetings or team building exercises.
