With more than 40,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, 192 guest rooms and 40 acres of green space, The Ingleside Hotel is the new Lake Country Gathering Place. A $14 million renovation was completed in late 2018. In addition to the fresh neutral décor, fully remodeled guests rooms and meeting space, other upgrades include state of the art wireless internet and audio visual equipment. Conveniently located right off I-94 in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, the property is located just 18 miles from Milwaukee, 25 minutes from General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and 75 miles from Madison. In August of 2016, chef Laurel Burleson launched the Ugly Apple Food Cart. She has been cooking in professional kitchens since high school and has a degree in hospitality management. After cooking for several years around Chicago and Madison, she saw how much was going to waste of this fantastic Midwestern produce. She envisioned owning a cafe that focused on delicious local produce.
Hence, the Ugly Apple was born.
