SAii Laguna Phuket is located on Bangtao Beach Phuket, only 25 minutes drive from the Phuket International Airport. Our exceptional beachfront property is destined to become one of Phuket’s most coveted business and leisure destination. 9 unique venues totalling 1,900 square metres of flexible meeting and event space and natural light are just the beginning. The newly built standalone Meetings and Events Centre with a dedicated private entrance to ensure group privacy and event flexibility offers 6 function rooms with 672 square metres of meeting and exhibition space including pillar-less ballroom with 6-metre high ceiling with movable partitions walls, a dedicated VIP Lounge and multiple breakout rooms. Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
We have removed plastic straws, stirrers, and cotton buds from our operations, offering eco-friendly alternatives such as biodegradable straws, which are only available upon request for guests with disabilities. In addition, we provide guests with reusable glass water bottles in rooms and refill stations throughout the resort to further minimize plastic waste. These efforts align with our commitment to sustainable practices and reducing environmental impact.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
SAii Laguna Phuket installed solar panel to generate renewable energy to be used in the resort. It also purchase the energy from third party (Gird).

Yes, for all pillows and inset duvet, they are sanitized with high temperature by the in-house dryer machine. For bath robes, they are always sent out to wash and dry after use. SAii Laguna Phuket cleans the fabric headboard every day while cleaning the guest rooms.
