About us

All villas have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleep up to six people comfortably and come fully furnished including completely equipped large kitchens, as well washer/dryer. All units are air conditioned and have breath taking views of the pool and the Caribbean Ocean. Each Los Porticos was designed to welcome its guests into a home environment; the units are 1350 to 1650 sq. ft. of luxurious living with all imported furnishing and have 540 to 650 sq. ft. of covered balcony. Each unit has flat screen TV and cable internet. There are kayaks, golf carts and bicycles available for rent. We also offer a provisioning service to stock your villa with groceries and beverages of your choice. Another attraction is that Belize is the only country in Central America where English is the main language. Los Porticos has two pools, one with a swim up bar, a day spa, and in spring of 2011, a restaurant and bar as well as convention facilities. Los Porticos is only a five minute taxi ride in the town of Placencia which has l beach and lagoon side restaurants, bars and gift shops as well as a number of tour guide companies with excellent knowledge of land and ocean adventures. Activities includes; swimming, snorkeling, beach volleyball, biking, sailing, kayaking, trips to the Mayan ruins and Jaguar Park, cave tubing, birding (Belize had more species than Canada and United States combined. Belize is also noted for its spectacular diving and has the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. The weather in Belize is incredible, with hours of sunshine every day. Even in the rainy reason which is June to November it rains mainly at night and is sunny during the day. You could not ask for better weather.
