About us

Villa Cimbrone is one of the most prestigious Hotels de Charme in the entire Mediterranean. The splendour and ambience of yesteryear permeate this 12th century residence. The Vuilleumier family, with its generations of experience in the hotel industry, conserves and protects the original architectural and decorative features. There is a selection of just nineteen rooms for our demanding, privileged guests. They are embellished with antique Vietri ceramic flooring and stone or majolica fireplaces. Villa Cimbrone is the ideal place for many kinds of events, including weddings, gala dinners, ceremonies, concerts, conventions, fashion shows, filming on location and video or photo shoots.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
