About us

Saltcote Place is the most elevated property in the area with extensive quite grounds offering far reaching views from a variety of formal and informal lawns. Over looking Romney Marshes toward France, left to Folkestone and to the right you can overlook Rye Sussex. The centre of Rye can be popular with early morning seagulls - nice quiet birds. Because of the heritage, we named the penthouse "The Hennessy suite" which is also available as an elegant bridal suite in addition to being a fantastic weekend or midweek retreat for those used to the best things in life. We created the sort of suites we would appreciate when we go away, elegant, inviting and full of those extra little touches. Our accommodation has been popular with many of our guests returning throughout the year. If you like the suite then you will fall in love with Saltcote Place, it is the only Rye Wedding Venue where you could have from as few as two and upto 500 guests and know they would all have a worry free day, we are set within secure gated grounds.

The vessel offers comfort throughout with comfortable seating in the deck area, a fly bridge deck gives you a second floor viewing area for entertaining and taking in the incredible views of Seattle’s awesome sunsets, and a lounge below-deck to get out of the wind, if desired, with refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave.
