Facility MassMutual Convention Center is the most versatile meeting and event facility in Western Massachusetts, offering over 100,000 square feet of flexible, modern space designed to support events of all sizes. The facility features an elegant 15,000 sq. ft. Grand Ballroom, divisible into three sections; a 40,650 sq. ft. Exhibition Hall, divisible into two sections; and more than 8,300 sq. ft. of breakout and meeting space that can be configured as individual rooms or combined to support complex agendas. Three expansive pre-function areas with floor-to-ceiling windows provide more than 20,000 sq. ft. of additional gathering space. The campus also includes an 8,000-seat multi-purpose Arena, ideal for large general sessions, keynote presentations, town halls, and special events. For planners seeking added flexibility, The Landing, a 12,900 sq. ft. seasonal outdoor plaza adjacent to the Convention Center, is available for receptions or event expansions from mid-April through October. Location Situated at the intersection of I-90 and I-91, at the Crossroads of New England, the MassMutual Convention Center offers easy regional access without the congestion or cost of larger metro markets. The venue is located in the heart of a walkable downtown convention district with restaurants, shopping, and entertainment just steps away. Bradley International Airport is 17 miles (approximately 20 minutes) from Springfield, and Union Station provides daily Amtrak service, along with Peter Pan and Greyhound bus connections. Western Massachusetts offers a range of cultural attractions, including the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum, Six Flags New England, and Yankee Candle. Adjacent to the Convention Center is MGM Springfield, featuring dining, entertainment, retail, gaming, bowling, and a luxury cinema—providing built-in options for before- and after-event experiences. Hospitality Community More than 1,300 hotel rooms are within walking distance of the MassMutual Convention Center, including over 900 rooms within a two-block radius, allowing attendees to stay close and eliminating the need for shuttle transportation. MassMutual Center is located in the heart of Downtown Springfield, MA, within walking distance and minutes from hotels, bus and train stations. Patrons should enter MassMutual Center at the entrance on the corner of Dwight Street and Bruce Landon Way. Traveling North on I-91 Take Exit 6 (Springfield Center), onto East Columbus Avenue Continue up East Columbus Avenue (about ¼ mile) to Court Street Take a right onto Court Street and proceed past Symphony Hall, City Hall and Sovereign Bank MassMutual Center is located at the corner of Court and Main Street across from Court Square Traveling South on I-91 Take Exit 7 (Springfield Center Columbus Avenue) Turn left at the light at the end of the ramp Circle under the highway and go straight through one light Take a right at the second light onto Main Street MassMutual Center is located at 1277 Main Street across from Court Square Traveling West on I-90 (MA Turnpike) Take Exit 6 off the MassTurnpike to Rt. 291. From Rt. 291, take Dwight Street Exit. Turn left at the end of the ramp and follow Dwight Street to MassMutual Center Traveling East on I-90 (MA Turnpike) Take Exit 4 onto I-91 South Follow directions for traveling South on I-91 MassMutual Center does not own or operate any local parking facilities. The NEW Civic Center garage is currently under construction with an anticipated opening of March, 2025. Parking is available at other parking facilities, including MGM Springfield with 3,400 free spaces, I-91 N and I-91 S Garages (fees apply) and the Columbus Street Garage (fees apply).
