About us

Mercure Szczyrk Resort (Opening 01.09.2024) - a brand new mountain resort and conference center, situated 660 meters above sea level, offers unique views from all of its 447 guest rooms. An eco-friendly building designed to imitate the mountain – albeit a man-made one. Located in Szczyrk, with easy access by highway or train, less than 1 hour from Katowice International Airport and 1 and a half hours from Kraków International Airport. With a conference area of 2500 square meters, the venue offers the possibility to host various events for up to 1200 participants. Additional exhibition space, along with a spacious restaurant, allows for functional use of the area, satisfying even the most demanding event organizers. Up to 50 breakout rooms are possible with mountain views, accommodating 10-20 people each. Various dining options are available on site, including 2 restaurants and 3 bars, including WoW Lobby Bar with panoramic views of the mountains or Luna Bar with stunning mountain views and a private terrace - ideal for more intimate business events. Unique interior design, a contemporary twist on the traditional highlander style, creates a warm ambiance. For guest relaxation, we offer the Flow Pool Zone with 3 swimming pools, jacuzzis, and a pool bar, as well as an additional SPA with saunarium. The large area surrounding the hotel includes a beach, 3 grill houses, outdoor jacuzzi, forest, and walking/jogging/biking paths. A ski slope is just 5 minutes away. The hotel offers the largest number of team-building and entertainment activities for groups - in the hotel, outdoors, or even trips to nearby tourist attractions - with 60 pages of various attractions depending on the client's time, preferences, and budget. Mercure Szczyrk is a unique venue that provides Accor's service guarantee along with astonishing views, functional conference space, beautiful modern design with a local flavor, and delicious cuisine that respects international classics but also allows for the discovery of crafted products from local vendors.
