About us

The Brando is a unique luxury resort on French Polynesia’s breathtakingly beautiful island atoll of Tetiaroa, less than 9 hours from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). A private tropical island once owned by Academy Award-winning actor Marlon Brando, hence its name. Tetiaroa is comprised of various small, pristine motus (islands) surrounded by a spectacular three-mile wide turquoise lagoon. Given the island is privately owned, it is not accessible to outside guests. The Brando Resort guests will have private access to all of the island's natural wonders which offer abundant water activities (snorkeling, stand-up paddle boarding, & canoeing), deep sea & fly-fishing, wildlife and archeological tours, as well as many opportunities for idyllic, secluded beach escapes. The resort offers 36 exceptional villas including one residence : 30 one-bedroom villas, 4 two-bedroom villas, 1 three-bedroom villa, and 1 four-bedroom residence, each featuring its own private pool, white sand beach, and a bicycle for every guest to further explore the island, The Brando offers an unparalleled level of privacy and comfort.
