About us
The Vultaggio family's country "baglio" (typical farmhouse hamlet) is situated in Misilscemi district. It has been turned into an Agriturismo Vultaggio (organic farm) with rooms and restaurant. The location is ideal for those who love and appreciate a holiday in contact with the beauty of nature. Agriturismo Vultaggio, which can accommodate guests with disabilities, is located a few kilometres from Erice, a synthesis of myth, history, art and culture, from Segesta with its legendary temple and grand theatre, from Selinunte, with its rich museum of civilisation and its ancient metropolis.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
