Thon Hotel Polar has 130 pleasant rooms. Thon Hotel Polar is located in the heart of Tromso, and everything ”The Paris of the North” is renowned for, is only a stone’s throw away from us. The hotel is a Thon Budget hotel which is a good alternative when you want smart accommodation at a low rate. The hotel is at the heart of Tromso, and is an excellent base for shopping, museum visits, restaurants and Tromso’s nightlife.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
