About us
Lismore House Hotel is located in the heart of the beautiful heritage town of Lismore,Co. Waterford. Originally built in 1797 by the Duke of Devonshire, it is Ireland’s oldest purpose built Hotel. Hotel was completely restored and refurbished to retain the glory of it’s Georgian Old World Style and Charm and reflect the heritage of Lismore Castle and its surrounds. Our Hotel is situated on the Main N72 road from Waterford to Killarney within 1 hours drive of Cork City, Waterford City, Tipperary Town, Kilkenny, and also county Limerick. The Lismore House Hotel’s original and new bedrooms have been lovingly restored and decorated to their original Georgian charm and style. The hotel consists of 29 luxurious bedrooms which are completely furnished with various amenities. The hotel consists of 2 conference suites which are ideal for holding business events, weddings and receptions.
