About us
Te Raukura is a new purpose-built centre in the heart of Wellington’s prestigious waterfront. A unique mix of tradition within a contemporary context, this versatile venue is built to house two ceremonial waka taua and waka ama, hence its description as Te Wharewaka o Poneke. Set within this Māori cultural environment, there is a range of different spaces available, from meeting and function rooms to an exhibition-style area. This allows us to cater for any sized group, up to 550 cocktail style. We can also offer marquee “add-on” options to further increase the venue space.
