Cancellation Policy
2 weeks notice required for cancellations for all school and public holiday period bookings and also for special events and for conferences. In particular for conferences, a written notice is required to confirm the cancellation prior 2 weeks of actual conference day. Otherwise, full charge of the conference (venue hire + catering charges) applies. For all other times, cancellations made up to 7 days before the booked date incur no charges. Thereafter, the deposit of 10% of the booking value may be retained. Cancellations with less than 48 hours (2 days) from 2pm Check-In* notice or No Show will result in the total amount for the booked accommodation being charged unless we are able to resell the booking. If we are successful in on-selling the booking for you, in whole or in part, we shall refund you as appropriate less a $25 admin charge per sale. *Group Bookings - bookings with 3 and more rooms is considered as a group booking. Long term Bookings - bookings for more than 7 days is considered as a long term booking. Group Bookings and Long Term Bookings Cancellation Policy Aotea Lodge advises that the following cancellation policy applies for all group bookings and long term bookings: All reservations must be accompanied by A Valid Credit Card And An Advance Deposit. 20% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. Cancellations made up to two months before the booked date incur no charge. Thereafter, the total booking amount is payable. Corporate Group Booking Policy Aotea Lodge advises that the following cancellation policy applies for all Corporate bookings: All reservations must be accompanied by A Valid Credit Card and Advance Deposit or prior agreed to be invoiced. All invoices must be paid within 7 days of checkout. Cancellations made prior to two months on corporate bookings incur no charge. Thereafter the total booking amount is payable.
