About us
The War Memorial Conference and Convention Centre (formerly known as the Wanganui War Memorial Hall) offer three versatile venues in one architecturally renowned complex. The Centre is registered with the Historic Places Trust as a category one building. The largest area within the complex is the Main Hall capable of seating approximately 1300 people. The Main Hall is very versatile and it is an excellent venue for meetings, conferences, sports tournaments, socials, displays, public entertainment and various other social activities. The Main Hall is naturally lit through the day. Special lighting facilities for day or night are available on request.
