The Hato Caves

The Hato Caves are located on the north side of the island and only two minutes from the International Airport of Curacao. Once inside the cave, tour takes about 45 minutes. Your guide will give information on the history and cultural significance of the cave, pointing out creative formations and the imaginative stories behind them; some take on shapes and are called the Sleeping Giant and Mother Maria. You will also be impressed by a romantic pool and a colony of rare bats hanging from the ceiling.
