About us

An exemplary urban retreat, Le Méridien Yixing offers proximity to downtown and natural surroundings. Hotel is conveniently located in the city with views to the Tai Lake in the East and to the commercial district in the West. Hotel is about 10 minutes’ walk from Yixing Cultural Center and about 15 minutes’ drive from Yixing high-speed rail station. Yixing is renowned across China as the home of the traditional “zisha” teapots—made from the local purple clay. Tai lake lies to its east, and Yixing is at the center of the triangle consisting of Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou. The surrounding area is rich with many natural attractions and historical venues. The famed Shanjuan Cave, the beauty of Yixing’s Bamboo Forest Park, and the Zisha Museum are the must-see attractions in Yixing.
