El Hotel Budweis está situado justo en el centro de la ciudad, en una zona tranquila junto al río Malše. La historia del edificio se remonta al siglo XIV, cuando aquí se ubicaba un molino. El hotel se encuentra a pocos pasos de la plaza principal con forma de plaza de Přemysl Ottokar II, que se considera una de las plazas más bonitas de Europa.
