¡Reunámonos en A Room with a ZOO en Amberes! A Room with a ZOO (ArWaz) forma parte del complejo Elisabeth Center y se encuentra en el célebre zoológico de Amberes. Está situado a solo diez minutos a pie del centro histórico de la ciudad y al lado de la estación central, una maravillosa catedral de trenes de alta velocidad. La proximidad es clave: solo tienes que bajarte del tren directo desde Londres y unos pasos más adelante llegarás a nuestro centro de convenciones. Para las llegadas de vuelos, el aeropuerto internacional está a solo 30 minutos en coche. Con una ubicación ideal en el centro de Europa, ¡A Room with a ZOO es el destino perfecto para reuniones! El centro de convenciones puede recibir hasta 2.700 participantes y ofrece más de 25.000 m² de espacio para conferencias (30 habitaciones), así como una magnífica selección de actividades sociales muy apetecibles, como cenar bajo el agua o pasear por el zoológico que duerme. Una habitación con un zoológico le ofrece una experiencia más allá del espacio. El Auditorio Queen Elisabeth, con capacidad para 1.880 personas, es la guinda del pastel. Uno de los primeros zoológicos científicos del mundo El recinto es el único centro de convenciones del mundo que cuenta con un zoológico: un zoológico con su propio centro científico y de investigación galardonado y gestionado de acuerdo con los más altos estándares de bienestar animal de EAZA y WAZA, las asociaciones internacionales de zoológicos cofundadas por el ZOO de Amberes. La investigación científica está en el ADN del ZOO. La ciencia se practica y aplica en el zoológico de Amberes, pero también en las estaciones de investigación del extranjero, en el laboratorio del ZOO, bajo nuestra supervisión en las universidades y, sobre todo, en el centro de investigación zoológica «el Centro de Investigación y Conservación» (CRC). Desde su inicio oficial en 2000, este centro de investigación se ha convertido en uno de los centros de investigación zoológica más avanzados del mundo. Los científicos y expertos del ZOO son líderes en sus campos, que incluyen la genética, el comportamiento animal, el bienestar animal, la medicina veterinaria y la morfología animal. Con esta experiencia, trabajamos juntos en proyectos de investigación relacionados con tres temas principales: el bienestar animal, la conservación de la naturaleza y la investigación zoológica básica.
