A global museum in West Kowloon M+ is Asia’s global museum of contemporary visual culture, dedicated to collecting, exhibiting and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image and Hong Kong visual culture of the 20th and 21st centuries. A diverse collection spanning decades M+ manages a multidisciplinary collection of works by artists, makers, designers and architects from Asia and beyond. The M+ Sigg Collection is one of the world’s most extensive collections of Chinese contemporary art, with Hong Kong visual culture at its core, linking various curatorial themes. Thematic exhibitions featuring significant global icons M+ regularly curates exhibitions that highlight significant figures and moments in the history of art and visual culture in Asia. Notable past critically acclaimed special exhibitions include Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now and I. M. Pei: Life Is Architecture. A landmark of contemporary architecture The building, designed by Herzog & de Meuron in partnership with TFP Farrells and Arup, spans 65,000 square metres and includes 33 galleries, a learning hub, moving image centre, research centre and roof garden. M+ facade: one of the largest media facades in the world for moving image Facing Victoria Harbour, the M+ Facade is one of the largest media facades globally, thousands of LEDs that create dynamic displays, engaging thousands of onlookers each night. M+ Cinema: a hub for moving images A centrepiece of M+’s Moving Image Centre, M+ Cinema presents cross-disciplinary programmes of feature films, documentaries, experimental cinema, video art, restored classics and rare films, enriching the audience’s appreciation of visual culture. Public programmes and rooftop views M+ offers a dynamic calendar of public programmes and events, including artist talks, film screenings, workshops and guided tours, to deepen engagement with contemporary visual culture. Hong Kong’s largest sports and entertainment hub Kai Tak Sports Park is Hong Kong’s largest integrated sports and entertainment landmark. Located on the former northern tarmac of the old Kai Tak Airport, this expansive park is the ultimate destination for sports enthusiasts, families and food lovers alike. A premium stadium experience At the heart of the complex is the Kai Tak Stadium, which can accommodate up to 50,000 spectators. Dynamic outdoor venue for community sports Adding to the park’s offerings, The Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground is another outdoor area, ideal for football, rugby and training sessions. With a 5,000 seat capacity and a world-class multi-lane athletic track to IAAF standards, it’s perfect for community sports events and is open to the public for free when not in use. A vast haven for shopping and dining Within the sports park is Kai Tak Mall, spanning 700,000 square feet and featuring over 200 stores, along with diverse culinary options and entertainment attractions, such as a state-of-the-art bowling alley. Easy access for all The park is also highly accessible, as MTR Kai Tak Station and Sung Wong Toi Station are each within a 10-minute walk.

The Hong Kong Stadium (formerly known as the Government Stadium) was built in 1952. Redeveloped by the Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) in 1992, it was re-opened in 1994 under the management of Wembley International, UK, engaged by the HKJC. In 1998, the then Urban Council took over the management of the Stadium and carried out returfing works. The Stadium was handed over to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) following the latter's establishment in 2000. In April 2015, the Government partnered with the HKJC to conduct full reconstruction of the turf pitch as a long-term measure to enhance its quality and durability. The Stadium has been designed and well-equipped for hosting a wide range of sporting, religious and community events. With a maximum seating capacity of 40 000, the Stadium is at present the largest outdoor multi-purpose recreation and sports venue in Hong Kong. The nearby So Kon Po Recreation Ground, serving as a supporting venue when major sports events are held in the Stadium, is available for hire by organisations for sports competitions and training. The Stadium Management takes pride in providing a quality venue for a variety of significant events held throughout the year, including the annual Hong Kong Sevens, Lunar New Year soccer tournaments, soccer exhibition matches, reunification celebration events, Walks for Millions, as well as a number of community and religious events.

Through the empowering experience of co-creation, people can catch the spark of creativity, transforming their everyday lives and the lives of those around them through art. Oi! is a new platform for exchanging ideas that aims to nurture young artists, promote community art and develop as an innovative and engaging venue for encouraging collaboration and co-creation in art. With the hope that boundless imagination and new experimental ideas can be triggered and that creativity can be sparked through different types of collaboration, we set out to connect art with people and the community. Oi! is a Grade II historic building that was built in 1908 as the clubhouse of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club. Its name links the ideas behind it with its location: Oi! sounds similar to the address in Cantonese and conveys a call for people's attention while providing a platform where they can realise their dreams in art. Oi! will work closely together with the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre, its sister organisation under the Art Promotion Office. Representing the vertical axis, the VAC will continue to provide art training programmes for the public to further their artistic development, while Oi! as the horizontal axis will explore the possibilities of experimenting in art by providing space for projects that can inspire creativity and organising programmes that engage the public.

Causeway Bay is a true microcosm of Hong Kong’s shopping scene, with up-market fashion to be found in Lee Gardens One & Two, Hysan Place, Lee Theatre, Times Square and Fashion Walk, mid-price and luxury goods in SOGO Department Store. Among all these, are yet even more shops specialising in everything from shoes to electronics, computers, skin care, snacks and home accessories etc.

Located at the city centre of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Park was opened in October 1957 and was named after the statue of Queen Victoria. The Park has been refurbished from 2000 to 2002. With an area of over 19 hectares, Victoria Park is the largest park in Hong Kong Island.

Lan Kwai Fong is a small square of streets in Central, in L-shaped with two ends joining with D'Aguilar Street. It is popular in Hong Kong for dining, clubbing and drinking hot spots, where local delicacies and cuisines from all around the world. It is the perfect place for after-work drinks, dinner with friends and a great night out.

Stanley Market is one of the must-go-places for tourists. Seven days a week open market town on the sunny south side of Hong Kong Island. It is an interesting array of little shops selling clothing, art, Chinese costume jewellery and souvenirs. Stanley also has beautiful beaches that are popular with windsurfers. It has wide variety of funky bars and great restaurants on its waterfront along the street to enjoy.

Ocean Park is Hong Kong's favourite marine-life theme park attractions, featuring thrill rides, animal exhibits and conservation facilities and shows. The Park is located on the southern side of Hong Kong Island and covering more than 870,000 square metre of Iand. The newest attraction, Polar adventure lets you explore the North nand South poles in one day. Other popular attractions have included Old Hong Kong, Sea Jelly Spectacular, Ocean Theatre, Abyss Turbo Drop and Mine Train roller coaster are also not to be missed.

Standing 44-metres tall, the old Clock Tower was erected in 1915 as part of the Kowloon–Canton Railway terminus. The once-bustling station is long gone, but this red brick and granite tower, now preserved as a Declared Monument, survives as an elegant reminder of the Age of Steam. It has also been a memorable landmark for the millions of Chinese immigrants who passed through the terminus to begin new lives not just in Hong Kong, but in other parts of the world via the city’s harbour.
