Built and designed with the conference market in mind, the hotel lends itself to various types of meetings and events to suit the organisers’ requirements. Each event organised at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel will benefit from the experienced conference co-ordination team who will endeavour to facilitate your every need, in the lead up to and throughout the event itself. Delegates can look forward to the outstanding and personal service which the Sheraton guarantees. With a central location and a choice of 11 spacious and flexible conference suites, connecting with colleagues and associates has never been easier than at the Sheraton Athlone Hotel. The spacious facilities welcome up to 1,200 delegates and include sophisticated conferencing equipment, high speed internet access, complimentary WiFi connectivity throughout the hotel, and a highly professional and efficient conference and banqueting team who will ensure that all conferences held at Sheraton are a success. All our meeting spaces are found away from the hotel's main thoroughfare providing quiet space for delegates.Our largest banqueting suite, Hoey Suite, accommodates 630 delegates and is complemented by breakout rooms on Meet on Level 2. Meet on Level 2 boast outdoor rooftop terrace, ideal for refreshment breaks, outdoor activities and BBQ's.
