¿Por qué elegir nuestro destino?
Ayer, Barbizon era una enorme aldea de carpinteros. Pero con la llegada de Corot, Rousseau, Millet y Díaz de la Peña, se convirtió, entre 1830 y 1870, en el escenario de la revolución de la pintura moderna.
Se llaman los «coloristas», los «paisajistas». Llegaron caminando de Chailly a Barbizon, donde la pareja Ganne los recibió en su posada para convertirse en el punto de encuentro de todos los artistas. A los pintores les encantaba todo lo que había en el pueblo: la luz entre la maleza, los colores oscuros de los árboles altos, las nubes tormentosas, la estación o los cambios diarios de la naturaleza. Caballete en la parte posterior, salían corriendo de sus estudios y caminaban hacia la llanura o el bosque, sorprendiendo a la naturaleza «como en casa».

Who doesn’t enjoy traveling, movies, music, games, and room escape challenges? We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
