Además de un sistema de iluminación eficiente desde el punto de vista energético, la electricidad proviene de fuentes de energía 100% renovables, un moderno sistema de control de ventilación con recuperación de calor y el uso de bienes y servicios regionales, la satisfacción de los empleados y los aspectos sociales La mayor parte de la tecnología, el mobiliario y otros equipos utilizados en la BCC ya están en el sitio y son propiedad de la BCC. Esto evita que se recorran miles de kilómetros en cada evento. Se prefieren los productos y materiales reutilizables para la exposición y la decoración. Gracias a muchos años de experiencia, las cantidades de alimentos se pueden calcular con precisión en la propia cocina de la BCC y se puede evitar la sobreproducción.
