La abadía de Newbattle, que originalmente era un monasterio cisterciense medieval, tiene una historia de 900 años dando la bienvenida a la realeza y a huéspedes privilegiados. Ubicado a poca distancia del centro de la ciudad de Edimburgo, ofrece 125 acres de apacibles zonas verdes a orillas del río Esk. Este edificio histórico único es el lugar perfecto para reuniones o conferencias con capacidad para 120 personas al estilo teatro, cenas de gala para hasta 88 personas y recepciones con bebidas para hasta 285 invitados. Lugar único Seis magníficas salas para eventos, todas con vistas a los jardines circundantes, muestran la mejor artesanía. El adornado techo con frescos del gran Drawing Room es un impresionante ejemplo del trabajo del arquitecto de Edimburgo, Thomas Bonnar.
