Ubicado en una idílica finca rural a las afueras de Edimburgo, el castillo de Melville es un lugar encantador para su evento. Alguna vez fue el asiento de caza de María, reina de Escocia, que plantó castaños para su querido Rizzio, que aún se mantienen en pie en el bosque hasta el día de hoy. El actual castillo georgiano fue construido con los mismos cimientos por Henry Dundas, primer vizconde de Melville, en 1786 para entretenerse a gran escala, lo que continúa hasta nuestros días. En los últimos años, el castillo ha sido restaurado con esmero y ofrece una variedad de salas perfectas para eventos de todos los tamaños, desde pequeñas reuniones hasta grandes exposiciones; desde 4 delegados en un comedor privado hasta 220 invitados en nuestra carpa para fiestas. Los huéspedes están invitados a disfrutar de la tranquilidad y el confort de este histórico castillo, que incluye nuestras 33 cómodas habitaciones, el restaurante brasserie y el bar bodega del hotel, paseos por los bosques locales, actividades campestres y actividades como tiro sobre tierra batida, golf, equitación y cetrería.
