El Florence Center, construido en 1993, se ha convertido en la piedra angular de un área de rápido crecimiento adyacente a la I-20 y la I-95. Durante los últimos años, esta área ha visto la apertura de un nuevo Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Spring Hill Suites, Home Depot, Kohl's, Olive Garden y Longhorn Steakhouse. El restaurante Chili's, el San Jose Tequila Bar y el Arbor One Center han abierto sus puertas, así como el nuevo Veterans Memorial Park ubicado junto al estacionamiento del centro.
