Our Galway hotel is ideally situated for both weekend getaways and business events. With 195 superbly appointed rooms, featuring an exclusive executive floor, junior and presidential suites. Clayton Hotel Galway has some of the most extensive meeting and conference facilities in Galway to provide you with an excellent venue to do business. Our state-of-the-art meeting rooms are ergonomically designed and furnished in a modern and contemporary styling to offer a productive space in which to conduct your event. In total, there are 15 spaces that are suitable for such events.

Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
Yes, Remove plastic straws, remove coasters with plastic backing/replace with paper. Remove small toiletry bottles/soaps & use large refillable bottles. Guest Laundry bags made from corn starch & are bio degradable.
Does your hotel generate (onsite) or purchase (offsite) renewable energy (beyond your utility's standard offerings)? If yes, please describe your practices for generating or purchasing renewable energy.
Yes, Dalata ensures that when negotiating with utility providers, that only green certified electricity is purchased. Hotels in UK, NI and ROI are currently being supplied with 100% green electricity.
Does your hotel engage in activities to protect & restore the natural environment in which it is located (i.e. trees planted, coral reef restored, etc.)?
