Sin edificios en sus alrededores, sin la sensación de aislamiento en una ciudad ajetreada y, al mismo tiempo, rodeado de vegetación (Paseo del Doctor Fleming), se encuentran el recinto del festival, el Museo de Asturias, el pabellón deportivo y el campo de fútbol, todo muy cerca del hotel.
