The Highlands hotel is situated in the picturesque town of Glenties, which has won awards both in the national Tidy Towns competition and the international European competition, Entente Florale. Glenties is set in the heart of the Bluestack Mountains of southwest Donegal, and is an ideal location for the active traveller as the surrounding glens are a haven for hill walkers and cyclists, and a series of marked walks and tracks (gentle or demanding) meander through the country-side. The hotel boasts 24 well equipped bedrooms, all of which have been decorated to a very high standard, and a restful ambience has been created to ensure guests a peaceful stay. Our two function rooms are suitable for all kinds of functions from small intimate parties to a large extravagant wedding.
