Ostan Loch Altan, situated in Gortahork, North West Donegal, is a 39 en-suite bedroom hotel. It is named after Loch Altan, a lake situated at the foot of the northern slopes of nearby Mount Errigal. Gort a'Choirce, meaning field of oats, is in the heart of the Donegal Gaeltacht. Óstán Loch Altan has built up an excellent reputation for the quality of its food. The A La Carte and dinner menus in the Sonas Restaurant always include a seasonal selection of fresh local produce with Atlantic fresh fish dishes a specialty. Head chef, Lorraine Doogan, looks forward to welcoming you to the Sonas restaurant where you will be treated to a delightful dining experience by restaurant manager Bernie Boyle and her friendly and efficient staff.
