Panmunjeon is located 50 km north of Seoul and only 10 km from Gaesung. From JSA, guards from both South and North Korea are monitoring each other under the tight supervision of UNC security battalion. Sightseeing is allowed by reservation only and classified by Korean national and foreigners. In JSA, there are 10 building including the main conference hall of the Military Armistice Commission (MAC) and various meetings between South and North Korea are being held.
