POINTS OF INTEREST Ha Long Bay A UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay is renowned for its majestic limestone karsts formed over millions of years. Rooted in the legend of the Mother Dragon protecting ancient Vietnam, the bay is now a thriving marine ecosystem with hundreds of coral, fish, seaweed and mangrove species. Its mystical scenery and rich biodiversity make it one of Asia’s most iconic natural wonders. Ba Mun Island Situated in Bai Tu Long Bay, Ba Mun Island is the largest wildlife conservation area in northeastern Vietnam. Its 1,800-hectare primeval forest shelters over 2,000 species of flora and fauna. Just 0.5km from Quan Lan or a 45-minute speedboat ride from Ao Tien Port, the island offers an untouched sanctuary ideal for nature lovers and eco-adventurers. Quan Lan Island Home to Angsana Quan Lan, the island offers pristine beaches, dramatic cliffs and unspoilt forests. Once known as Canh Cuoc, Quan Lan showcases a charming blend of nature and culture, with pagodas, temples and shrines honouring gods, ancestors and national heroes. A must-visit is the Quan Lan Temple Complex, featuring a pagoda, temple and communal house reflecting centuries of heritage. Cape Sa Vi Located at Vietnam’s northeasternmost point, Cape Sa Vi impresses with its sweeping 17-kilometre sandy shoreline shaped like a dragon’s tail during low tide.
