Longworth House is located in Newcastle, Australia. It is perfect for a unique wedding reception in the heart of Newcastle. Longworth House occupies an elegant and versatile space, overflowing with grace and charm. The historic building makes an ideal, inner-city function venue for a wedding, business function, corporate event, charity ball or private party. Any function can be catered for in rooms of varying styles and sizes - from tapas lounge and wine bar, to boardroom and ballroom. The ground floor ballroom has baroque-style opulence with lush red velvet curtains, chandeliers and wall lighting creating a romantic ambiance. The upstairs ballroom is in the french provincial style with eight magnificent crystal chandeliers, flowing organza curtains and century old timber beams. A private boardroom with an adjacent lounge is also available for smaller gatherings. The perfect space for corporate conferencing or private dining.
