El castillo de Kokkedal fue erigido en 1746 como una casa de campo de estilo renacentista holandés por el conde Christian August von Berckentin. El arquitecto fue Johan Gottfried Rosenberg, quien también diseñó la residencia rococó del propietario en Copenhague, que hoy se conoce como la Mansión Odd Fellow. El salón de banquetes tiene capacidad para 90 personas y cuenta con muebles de época y candelabros, así como una romántica vista al parque y al mar. El salón ofrece acceso directo a la sala de jardín y a la terraza.
