Are you looking for an inspirational venue with an edge to really wow your delegates? You’ve come to the right place. At the heart of the University of New South Wales (UNSW) campus in the Eastern Suburbs lies an iconic venue, beloved by event professionals, the local community and concert goers since 1961. Roundhouse has come full circle. From its humble beginnings as the venue of choice for the biggest music acts over the decades, the venue has undergone extensive refurbishments to deliver an unrivalled event experience suited to a range of events. With capacity for 10 - 2,200 guests, Sydney’s brand spanking new venue has so much to offer to make your next event truly spectacular. Walking through the main entrance, you will be awestruck by the panoramic main room which seats up to 1,000 delegates theatre style or 500 for a banquet. The upper level overlooks the main room from a 360-degree balcony and is home to eight flexible breakout rooms for sessions of 10 – 320 people. Breakout rooms are fully customisable and kitted out with the latest audio-visual equipment. With removable walls meaning you can combine, separate and deck out each room with limitless possibilities. With two bars, one on each level, your delegates will never to go thirsty! The Unibar on the ground floor opens up to the leafy beergarden, ideal for networking functions and cocktail receptions. The stunning architecture is the real showstopper. Flooded with natural light from every angle, it feels light, airy and is a distant departure from the stuffy university lecture hall which is all too familiar for conference goers. Our expert team has got you covered. We know that the finishing touches are critical to ensuring an impactful event. We’ll work with you to arrange tables, flowers, furniture and your audio-visual needs. The world is at your fingertips at Roundhouse. We’ve run the biggest and best gigs in town and we know how to put on a show. Our equipment includes a world class PA system and lighting equipment; data projectors and screens; wireless and lapel microphones; DJ equipment; and smoke machines. Our in-house technical team can work with you to deliver a show-stopping production for your event. From cocktails and canapes, to fine dining sit-down meals, we have all the bases covered to exceed your expectations. We work with four preferred caterers to offer you the most competitive and well-suited catering package for your budget.
