The hotel boasts panoramic views of the valley, woods and MacGillicuddy`s Reeks, home to Carrauntoohil Ireland`s highest mountain. Glencar house is a place of perfect peace, our House has 19 en-suite bedrooms, a glazed veranda with the most spectacular landscape as its canvass, the Cedar Restaurant - overlooking forest, mountains, and the relaxing Caragh bar with turf burning open fireplaces. Glencar is perfect for an intimate houseparties for up to 40 people. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
