Baan Talay Resort is located on chaweng beach – koh samui’s most popular beach location, towards the south of Chaweng, closed to Centara Grand Beach Resort. Our 54 bungalows are tastefully designed and can be differentiated into 2 distinctive theme concepts. The hotel proudly offers three types of accommodation, comprising of garden view bungalows, pool view and beachfront bungalows. Our garden view bungalows are traditional Thai style bungalows neatly arranged around our resort’s garden, while our pool views and beach front bungalows are newly renovated rooms, and offer contemporary design with modern amenities.

Soi Green Mango is to Koh Samui what Soi Cowboy is to Bangkok and Walking Street is to Pattaya, albeit on a smaller scale. It is the beating heart of the island’s nightlife, home to cheap drinks, loud music and good times. The highlight of the street is the namesake establishment at the very end of the road – The Green Mango Club, which has been an institution of Chaweng’s nightlife for decades.

Central Festival Samui describes itself as 'the most complete and largest lifestyle shopping complex in Samui’; with three storeys and around 90,000sqm of retail space, there couldn't be a better description for this huge shopping and dining mall, which is located between Chaweng's Beach Road and the nearby lake.

This temple contains, according to the sign, a replica of Buddha's footprint, but it's not on any island tour so you'll have to 'rough it' and drive there yourself. On your way to the top you will also pass the fabulous 'Nathalie's Art Palace' and the Samui branch of Bangkok's famous 'Q Bar'. To get there, look for the Q Bar sign on the road linking Samui Ring Road to Chaweng Beach. In addition to its Buddha relic, the temple features a golden chedi (stupa) and a collection of beautiful statues. As most temples in Thailand, it is a peaceful place at which anyone can meditate for a few hours.
Muay Thai Boxing
Petchbuncha Boxing Stadium is the centre of Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) in Koh Samui. Thai Boxing or Muay Thai is Thailand's National Sport and is one of the world's most demanding contact sports. It takes long and hard training to excel in this discipline and more and more people worldwide are becoming interested and are taking this sport up. Located at the entrance of Soi Reggae in the central area of Chaweng, Petchbuncha Stadium is a large building that can accommodate up to 1,500 punters.

Football Golf is an original and more and more popular game, and is becoming better known around the world. The idea is simple enough: it's a hybrid of football and golf in which players try to steer a football into the 18 holes in as few ‘strokes’ as possible - using their feet of course. It will have you and your group playing, laughing and enjoying it for at least 60 minutes and at the same time you can enjoy a refreshing tropical garden walk around a beautiful coconut plantation that forms the 'course'.
