El Playitas Resort está situado en la pintoresca bahía del pueblo pesquero de Las Playitas, en el municipio de Tuineje, en Fuerteventura. Está a medio camino entre el aeropuerto de Puerto del Rosario y Jandía, en el sur de la isla. La próxima gran ciudad, Gran Tarajal, a 5 kilómetros de distancia, es de fácil acceso con el transporte público y ofrece una gran variedad de restaurantes y tiendas. El complejo consta de 3 establecimientos diferentes: Playitas Aparthotel, perfecto para familias con 114 estudios y 96 apartamentos, Playitas Hotel, perfecto para individuos o parejas con 167 habitaciones dobles, 52 junior suites y 4 suites con piscina, y Playitas Villas, perfecto para vacaciones exclusivas con 24 villas. Playitas Resort se está convirtiendo en el centro deportivo y de entrenamiento más grande de Europa. Ofrece una gran variedad de actividades deportivas: natación, ciclismo, triatlón, golf, centro ciclista (con bicicletas de montaña, bicicletas de carretera y bicicletas de fitness), etc. Su equipo deportivo le ofrece una gran variedad de programas deportivos: aeróbico, spinning, tonificación corporal, karate aeróbico, gimnasia acuática, etc. En Playitas Resort se puede encontrar un gimnasio de 700 m2, una piscina olímpica de 50 metros, un campo de golf de 18 hoyos con campo de prácticas y una academia de golf PGA, canchas de tenis, centro de bicicletas, campo de voleibol y mucho más. También ofrece deportes acuáticos: windsurf, vela para gatos, centro de buceo, etc.
