Liston Hall se utilizó por primera vez como iglesia metodista primitiva en 1874. Cuando la iglesia unió fuerzas con las de los metodistas en la calle Spittal, el edificio fue comprado por la Sra. Forbes Liston, quien lo regaló a la gente de Marlow como un salón público. La sala fue utilizada por una variedad de ocupantes, desde una biblioteca del condado hasta un salón de baile, pero en 1970 se formó la Asociación Comunitaria de Marlow, que asumió la administración del edificio.
