Threes Brewing Governors Island is an open-air private event space on Liggett Terrace at 517 Clayton Road, Governors Island, New York — 5,000 sq ft of tree-lined outdoor event space with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline, open May through October. Standard capacity is 80 seated or 500 standing, with configurations for 1,000+ guests available on request — the largest event footprint in our portfolio by a wide margin. Getting there is a short ferry ride from Lower Manhattan or Brooklyn, and that's part of the appeal: it's a genuinely unexpected setting for a corporate event, and one that tends to make an impression. Where We Meet We typically meet guests at the Ace Hotel located at 20 W 29th Street (midtown Manhattan, 10 blocks south of Times Square). If we are taking guests on a Brooklyn tour, we typically meet them at the Whole Foods upstairs cafe located at 4 Union Square (Manhattan, at 14th Street). At both pre-experience meeting locations you’ll find a cafe and bathroom, which are both convenient before your marathon secondhand shopping day! For larger groups and corporate events, we organize meetings at a private location also conveniently located near midtown and subway access. That address is determined before the tour and space rental is included in booking fees.
