«Con su amplio camino de entrada y 17 ½ acres de pintorescos jardines, Shotton Hall representa un excelente ejemplo de una casa de campo de mediados del siglo XVIII y es una de las pocas que aún sobreviven en la zona. Su importancia como edificio ha sido reconocida al estar protegido como edificio protegido de segundo grado.
