Este parque está justo al sur de Quepos, en la costa del Pacífico, a 132 km de San José. Quizás sea tan popular debido a sus costosas playas de arena blanca respaldadas por un bosque siempre verde que crece hasta la línea de la marea alta. Los habitantes principales son el bosque primario, el bosque secundario, los manglares, las lagunas y la vegetación de playa. La fauna es muy variada, con 109 especies de mamíferos y 184 de aves. El parque incluye 12 islotes cerca de la costa, donde hay una gran cantidad de delfines y, en ocasiones, se pueden observar ballenas migratorias. Más...
