El Cosmopolitan Hotel & Restaurant está en el Registro Nacional de Lugares Históricos. La magnífica estructura de adobe del primer piso de 1820 fue la residencia privada de Don Juan Bandini, un actor colorido e importante en el desarrollo inicial de San Diego. Su casa se construyó en la primera plaza del pueblo de San Diego entre 1827 y 1829.
