En 1972, Jürgen Mormels llegó a Costa Rica de vacaciones. Durante su estancia, la oportunidad de administrar el restaurante Le Bastille fue el primer paso hacia su «experiencia costarricense». Mormels, de origen alemán y chef de profesión, comenzó su «carrera» como empresario independiente con la creación de L'Escargot, el mejor restaurante de San José de la época, seguido de la apertura del London Club, otro éxito rotundo, donde el servicio de catering se ofreció por primera vez en el mercado local. Como pionero en este campo, ha logrado triunfar a través de la consistencia y la excelencia. 30 acogedoras habitaciones construidas alrededor de un tranquilo patio interior tropical. El Boutique Hotel Jade, de gestión europea, ofrece un ambiente relajante y confortable para su estancia en San José, ya sea por negocios o por placer.
