SCEDU es una empresa social establecida en 1995 para apoyar a las empresas sociales existentes y establecer nuevas. En la actualidad, la Unidad de Desarrollo Empresarial Comunitario de Sheffield ofrece una multiplicidad de servicios para empresas sociales, incluidos espacios de trabajo gestionados y asequibles e instalaciones para conferencias. El lugar está ubicado dentro de un edificio de ingeniería reconvertido diseñado específicamente para evocar una atmósfera tranquila y constructiva. SCEDU tiene 28 unidades de trabajo, así como 4 salas de reuniones y espacio para conferencias que se alquilan regularmente. Las salas de conferencias tienen luz natural, promovida por los techos altos y la ubicación junto al río. El objetivo es proporcionar el mejor espacio alternativo para fiestas y eventos en Sheffield, donde puedes simplemente reservar la habitación y atender a los invitados tú mismo.
