En el centro histórico de la capital de la provincia, el hotel Parador de Zamora ocupa un palacio construido sobre los restos de una fortaleza romana a mediados del siglo XV, y ofrece al viajero la oportunidad de descubrir la belleza del paisaje, tanto natural como urbano, de Zamora. El sabor medieval del interior, con sus armaduras, tapices y atractivas camas con dosel, se combina con el estilo renacentista del patio, la galería de madera acristalada y los escudos de armas. Ofrece habitaciones bien equipadas y también tiene salas para convenciones y una piscina en el floreciente jardín. Los pisos y vigas de madera dan calidez a la decoración señorial.
